Project Overview
The platform connects neighbours who own underused items with people who need them for a short period. Households hold tools, equipment, and gear sitting unused most of the year, while nearby people needing them occasionally end up buying outright. This local sharing economy platform closes that gap, letting owners list items with their own pricing and availability while borrowers find and book within their area. Ditstek built it as a custom single-page web application with modular architecture and role-based routing, so one account acts as both owner and borrower.
