Azure SaaS Fintech Platform for Loan Management

Azure SaaS Fintech Platform for Loan Management

A cloud-native fintech platform connecting healthcare-adjacent merchants, consumers, and lenders through secure digital loan workflows, multi-lender integrations, centralized funding operations, merchant onboarding, refund management, and real-time financial visibility.

Azure SaaS Fintech Platform for Loan Management

Project Overview

The platform is a cloud-native SaaS solution designed to connect consumers with lenders across healthcare-adjacent industries such as cosmetic surgery, dental, education, men’s health, regenerative medicine, and tax relief. Rebuilt from a legacy Vue.js system using React, .NET, and Azure, it supports secure merchant onboarding, loan applications, multi-lender integrations, funding, refunds, and financial reconciliation. Dedicated Super Admin and Office portals provide role-specific workflows, while an event-driven architecture, modular services, caching, and cloud infrastructure support secure, scalable processing across the complete loan lifecycle.

Breaking Barriers in Loan Management

The absence of a unified system created inefficiencies, operational silos, and restricted growth opportunities for lenders and sellers. Complex workflows slowed processes, while limited visibility hindered decision-making and customer experience.

  • Unstable Third-Party Integrations

    Unstable Third-Party Integrations

Connecting multiple lenders and funding providers introduced inconsistent API responses and integration failures, creating risks of interrupted applications, incomplete transactions, and poor customer experiences.

  • Revenue Reconciliation Gaps

    Revenue Reconciliation Gaps

Disconnected funding, refund, and settlement workflows created visibility gaps where gateway and lender outcomes could differ, increasing reconciliation complexity and the possibility of unnoticed revenue leakage.

  • Scalability and Throughput Limitations

    Scalability and Throughput Limitations

The legacy architecture struggled during application volume spikes, creating processing bottlenecks that threatened real-time loan decisions, funding requests, and reliable performance as the platform expanded.

  • Cross-Domain Data Consistency

    Cross-Domain Data Consistency

Loan applications, merchant enrollment, funding statuses, and related financial records needed to remain synchronized across separate operational domains without compromising transactional accuracy or system reliability.

  • Merchant Onboarding Friction

    Merchant Onboarding Friction

Healthcare merchants faced lengthy enrollment processes without guided self-service workflows, making office activation, user assignments, lender configuration, and progression to first-value slower than required.

  • Security and Compliance Risks

    Security and Compliance Risks

Sensitive banking information and personally identifiable data required stronger encryption, restricted internal access, secure authentication, hardened routing, and improved secret management across healthcare-related financial operations.

Transforming Lending Through Digital Innovation

We rebuilt the platform using a modular service-oriented architecture that strengthens lender integrations, financial consistency, security, merchant onboarding, scalability, and operational visibility across complex healthcare-adjacent financing workflows.

Strict Module Isolation

Strict Module Isolation

Core platform modules operate within a shared host while communicating only through authenticated HTTP endpoints, with separate relational databases and startup validation preventing accidental cross-module database sharing.

Adapter-Based Integration Layer

Adapter-Based Integration Layer

A centralized adapter-style service layer standardizes lender communication, validates external payloads, provides fallback workflows, records provider responses, and exposes consistent errors without leaking sensitive integration information.

Transaction-Safe Domain Events

Transaction-Safe Domain Events

Database transactions are committed before synchronous domain events are dispatched within the same request cycle, helping maintain predictable consistency throughout loan application, funding, and merchant workflows.

Secure Data and File Architecture

Secure Data and File Architecture

File metadata remains searchable within relational databases while document payloads are stored in Azure object storage, supporting transactional access control without placing heavy files inside operational databases.

Advanced Security Hardening

Advanced Security Hardening

Backend-controlled routing, encrypted financial columns, Azure Managed Identity, role-aware authorization, and protected internal endpoints strengthen security while preventing unauthorized access to sensitive financial and customer information.

Async Operations and Caching

Async Operations and Caching

Async-first service operations and Redis caching improve performance across high-read and configuration-sensitive workflows, helping the platform handle increasing application volumes and scale horizontally when required.

Core Functionalities Driving Success

The platform combines merchant onboarding, multi-lender connectivity, funding orchestration, refund management, secure identity, audit logging, reporting, document workflows, and customer support within one scalable financial ecosystem.

Office Enrollment and User Administration

Office Enrollment and User Administration

Healthcare merchants can self-register offices, assign users across multiple locations, and complete Super Admin approval workflows where lender identifiers are configured before individual offices become active.

Loan Application Lifecycle Management

Loan Application Lifecycle Management

Applications move through structured stages including New, Offers Available, Action Required, Completed, and Refund, with inactive cases automatically categorized based on decline and offer-selection conditions

Multi-Lender Integration Engine

Multi-Lender Integration Engine

A flexible connector framework supports multiple financing providers, including iframe-based agreements, lender decisioning, payment plan submissions, ACH enrollment, and secure bank account linking workflows.

Centralized Funding Operations

Centralized Funding Operations

Super Admins can trigger merchant funding through OTP-verified API calls once agreements are signed, automatically updating application states and coordinating the release of funds to offices.

Intelligent Refund Management

Intelligent Refund Management

A unified refund workflow dynamically applies backend rules according to loan status, supporting cancellations before funding and partial adjustments that modify loan amounts before remaining funds are released.

Tiered Audit Logging

Tiered Audit Logging

Role-controlled audit logs provide platform-wide event histories and entity-specific drill-down views, while integration records mask PII and follow separate retention rules for operational security.

Identity and Access Management

Identity and Access Management

Azure AD B2C supports authentication, session controls, role switching, user lifecycle synchronization, and two-factor authentication prompts while enforcing secure access across Super Admin and merchant environments.

File and Document Services

File and Document Services

Users can securely review PDF documents and capture digital signatures directly within browser-based financial workflows, allowing agreements to be completed without leaving the platform experience.

Operational Dashboards and Reporting

Operational Dashboards and Reporting

Sales and operations teams can access KPI dashboards, conversion funnels, integration health indicators, and trend analysis independently, reducing reliance on engineering teams for recurring business reporting.
